This time next week I will be at work. My eight week maternity leave is coming to an end. Before Kaelyn was born, I though eight weeks was an eternity. I had contemplated taking only six weeks but decided I might as well take a few extra weeks. I am sure glad that I did. The time has flown, our days filled with napping, rocking, feedings, and a lot of bonding! It has been wonderful spending each day watching her grow and learn.

I love my job, I really do! But I don't want to go back to work. I want to stay home with Kaelyn and take care of her myself I want to do Kevin's laundry and cook him dinner. I want to clean house and work in the garden. I want to be here for the two people that I love so much. Alas, this isn't an option for our little family at this time and I do love my job and I would miss it tremendously if I were to leave. Still, this time next week, I will be at work, wishing I was home holding my little one.

My beautiful baby is losing her hair. Everyone warned me that this might happen but I still wasn't prepared for it. Her right side of her head is almost bald. The left side is hanging on but it is definitely thinning. I can't tell about the back as much. She does still have that little tuft of hair as I have accentuated with this little bow. Kaelyn doesn't look too happy about it either.

I have been working on getting some baby pictures posted...here is a link to the site Kaelyn's Picture Page

I am still working on this and will update it often (I promise) so check baby often to see how she is growing and changing. Six weeks old now!
