Yesterday was Kevin's birthday. We went to the movies. I had some pretty good contraction throughout the movie. Maybe the baby sensed the excitement of Harry Potter. The contractions stopped after I took a bath. I was hoping that was it! posted by Heather 8:41 AM Comments
Kaelyn and I are enjoying a snow day! There was no way I was taking a two-year-old, alone in the car with nine-month pregnant me, to drive to town on a snowy highway in the middle of nowhere. So, we are staying home. It is still snowing out so I made the right decision.I am washing little baby clothes and little blankets. I still have so much to do and time is going quick! I am getting ready to head upstairs and work in the nursery. I have some pictures to hang, and closets to get organized. People have been asking me what I need for the baby, but there's not much. I did order an infant carseat online the other night. That's a must have! We have decided to name the baby Kathryn Marie Crews. We will call her Kate for short. Kate Crews. I think it's a strong name. She continues to be active. We go back to the doctor next week. I am still debating on how she should enter this world. posted by Heather 12:22 PM Comments
I just reread posts from when I was nine months pregnant with Kaelyn. I feel bad for not documenting more of this pregnancy. I am going to start writing now as this is the exciting time anyway!I am 36 weeks today. The past nine months have gone rather quick. I am still not ready for this baby to come. Her room isn't ready, she doesn't have any clean clothes, and she doesn't even have a name! What a difference between the first and the second baby!I am feeling okay. I have pains here and there but it's all manageable. They are estiamating that this is going to be a pretty good sized baby. My OB wants me to think about electing to have a C-section. I have never had surgery, had never even been in the hospital until I had Kaelyn, so suffice to say, the thought of a C-Section does scare me. But the risks involved with a large baby scares me too. We have a lot of thinking to do. posted by Heather 5:32 PM Comments
